Begin with a customer, member, partner, or staff journey that is already difficult to manage. Record where information begins, who verifies it, which language versions must stay aligned, which systems receive it, what happens when the normal path fails, and how the team knows the work is complete.
That map can reveal whether the right intervention is a content repair, an integration, a small internal tool, a portal, or a larger replacement. Custom development is a possible answer, not the default conclusion.
