Prepare the list from the job that was actually accepted.
A revised commessa should not leave yesterday's preparation looking ready to use.
Choose a bounded preparation task.
Imagine an Italy-connected workshop that copies items from an accepted commessa into a material preparation sheet. The business already decides the specification and quantities; a member of staff repeatedly transfers the same approved details. Automation could prepare a draft list for that person to check. It need not place an order, reserve stock or instruct a machine.
Start with the job revision that is eligible for preparation, the item identifiers and the units the team uses. Your responsible staff define how an accepted item maps to a list entry. Material allowances, substitutions and technical production rules must come from the business's approved method; development should not invent them.
Make a change invalidate the old preparation.
In an illustrative trial, a customer-approved revision changes one item after the list has been prepared. The existing list should show which revision it came from and that further review is needed. Generating a new draft should not quietly leave two documents that both appear to authorise the same work.
Agree whether a revision requires a replacement list or a visible change summary. If someone has already picked material, the tool must bring that fact to the responsible person rather than assume that regenerating a document reverses physical work.
Keep the action with the person checking the materials.
The reviewer compares the prepared entries with the accepted job, actual stock and any approved changes. A missing item or suggested substitute goes back for the appropriate decision. The useful result is a checked preparation aid, with its job reference and revision intact, not an automatic promise that the workshop can proceed.
We can trial one job type using fictional or anonymised records. Try a quantity amendment, mixed units, an unavailable item and a previously prepared revision. Measure whether the draft helps staff prepare accurate work before expanding the scope. Bring the accepted job and the list somebody recreates from it, leaving private records and credentials out of the first message.
