Help colleagues see what needs attention.
Replace an unclear handover with a shared view of the work and its next decision.
Follow the work from preventivo to the next internal step
In a quotation-led business, the details approved by a customer may be copied into a job sheet or commessa. The useful software question is what allows that handover and which information must remain connected to the accepted proposal.
Map one example with the people doing it
A hypothetical fitting supplier receives a quantity change after preparing a quote. The sales colleague revises the proposal; the operational colleague needs to know whether the customer accepted the revision before planning the job. A shared tool can make that decision visible instead of relying on a coloured cell and an email remembered by one person.
We identify the records, responsible roles and states that make sense to your team. The words your organisation uses matter. Software should not assume that a status called confirmed means the same thing in sales, production planning and dispatch.
Include the reversal
Try a withdrawn approval, an incorrect quantity and a duplicate request. Decide which changes can be made directly and which need a visible review. Use fictional or anonymised records during discovery.
The result may be a small queue and approval tool rather than a complete business-system replacement. We scope migration, staff introduction and handover alongside development, so the screen does not depend on the original spreadsheet author's memory. Bring one complete quote-to-work example and the moment that currently requires someone to ask what happened.
